Why polyurethane vs. mudjacking
Traditional mudjacking uses a slurry of cement, water, and fly ash injected under the slab. It works, but it’s heavy (~100 lbs per cubic foot) and adds weight to the same subgrade that already failed. Polyurethane foam weighs 2–4 lbs per cubic foot, doesn’t absorb water, and isn’t affected by freeze-thaw. It cures in 15 minutes vs. 24+ hours for mudjacking, so you can use your driveway or patio the same day.
